The Hero’s Path Distorted

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything.  Ten days!  That’s abysmal.  I was posting once a week, but…Northern Lights has been finished so I suppose it only makes sense..  I have numerous things planned.  I’m working on a post about my favorite ASOIAF/GOT “crackpot” theories in addition to starting my Northern Lights editing blog for those of you interesting in my mad methods, but for now a macro, my first multi panel one.

Disclaimer: Neither pictures nor words are mine.

Sephiroth - The Hero's Path DistortedThis is far easier to see here, but it’s still a little bit rough.  The words are from Joseph Campbell’s The Hero’s Path, a quote from his volume The Hero With a Thousand Faces

“And where we had thought to find an abomination we shall find a god,
And where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves,
Where we had thought to travel outwards we shall come to the center of our own existence,
And where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world.”

The picture sources are as follows:

1. Heavenly Assassin Sephiroth
2.  Death of Aeris (FFVII) by Deviant Artist stazrhoolz.  Aeris is portrayed by XiaoStarCosplay
3.  +012 Insanity+ by Deviant Artist chibiasta
4. Sephiroth7 by Deviant Artist TeavyR

I think I might make some more macros either this week or next and possibly some more videos.  I now have Sony Vegas so AMV possibilities have opened up.  Hm, maybe I should make a meta “this is what I’m going to do next” post.  It might motivate me to actual do it hehe.

Until later dears and ducklings.
