Day 30: Your favorite game of all time.
Again I must apologize. The last few questions steer me in only one direction. I’ll keep the answer brief, since I’ve talked about it ad nauseum, especially in these,er, final days.
I’ve said enough about FFVII to fill several books (which isn’t too far from the truth), so I’ll just ask you all what’s your favorite game of all time, as I leave you with the wrap up.

This was a lot of fun, and it was a bit of a challenge, more so in making sure I kept to my self promise of posting an answer every day (thank you WordPress for the scheduling function), though I can’t say the questions didn’t make me think, which is never a bad thing.

I can’t pick just one, but FF7 is definitely in the top 5 greatest for me.

It’s like how do you pick just one baby? Though I’ve heard many parents DO have a favorite, but most would never reveal such a fact :p

Jak 3 is my all-time favorite game. I really love the way it combines platforming and vehicular gameplay, open-world and linear level designs, shooting and melee combat, epic storytelling and humor. And it had some really awesome reveals for people who had played the whole trilogy (particularly the one about the Precursors).
Enjoyed reading all your answers to these. Have only recently followed your blog it was a good way to get to know your gaming tastes. I’ve gathered you might kind of like Final Fantasy VII a little bit!

Wow! That sounds like a really well rounded game *looks for it* Omg JAK 3. For some reason I thought it said JAKE 3. I knew there were sequels to Jak and Daxter, but I never really played them. It’s funny because they started off as cartoonish and kiddy, but this game looks darker and grittier.
You pretty much know all of my secrets! The blogging is really my true self and yeah I like Final Fantasy VII JUST a wee bit 😀

It was a lot of fun if living up to its name of “challenge” hehe. I was able to add a LOT more games to my backlog with some of the comments I received, which is always good even if I now have more items on my backlog 😀

No way! You like FFVII? 😛 I saw this coming, and I wouldn’t let you have it any other way. My favorite game is Ocarina of Time, but that’s also an answer anyone could see coming, haha.
By the way, sorry for missing like half of these posts. I have like a million of these to catch up on now, so I’m going to do my best and go backwards. Yes, my own backwards challenge, starting with favorite game of all time, and regressing from there. 😉

Don’t even worry about it. I’m in a constant state of catch up. I thought I’d gone through all of my weekend emails, but I was sadly wrong. Oooh I like that! What I love about this challenge is every I’ve seen do it has done it differently 🙂

Yay, congrats on completing the challenge! Can’t wait to do it in September 😉 I should have plenty of time to organize my answers before then… although I am a huge procrastinator, so it’ll probably be last minute like always haha!

Same thing happened to me! I had so much steam in the beginning of May when I was scheduling them, but then I didn’t do the last week of June and told myself I’d get to it. I sure did…right on the day I’d stopped scheduling. Now I need to update the links on the menu.
