Title: TSN’s 2017 Top Games List

Of course I use the cover of the game that made me ugly cry…anyway, I have at least one more “Top” list to post for books.  I’m debating doing one of those all popular blog stat posts, but I’m on the fence about it.  It’s not something I really look at or consider, and this isn’t because I’m too cool for school or anything like that.  I just…don’t really think about it.  While I’d love for this blog to expand and garner more followers, and I have plans to do more expansive things, such thoughts don’t haunt my waking hours.  It would be awesome, and I’m going to do things to facilitate it, but I’m not overly concerned with it.  Maybe I should be?

I just did a Top 5 list out of the games I watched; the book list will be four times longer.

Despite the measly two word difference, I did get a bit of editing/revision in these past weeks.  I, unfortunately, don’t have much to talk about since I’m still working on the revision of Chapter 2, but I wanted to get back into this project even though I greatly want to start writing my next original novel, and I’m figuring out the timing/scheduling for that right now.  It will probably happen after I finish the HTML/CSS course I’m in the midst of.

In Progress

I was looking at the Book and Game Review sections of this update and realized they’re redundant.  I talk about what I’m going to review in those respective posts.  When I finish a game or book, I generally review it, and if I don’t plan to, I mention that in the post.  I’m all about consolidation and simplification this year, well…as much as I can.  I think an “In Progress” section makes a lot more sense, so long as I’m actively working on it.

1. Top 20 Books of 2017 – After I finish this, I’ll go back to catching up on my book reviews.
2. 2018 Gaming Plans – I might do one for Reading Plans, too.  After I finish this, I’ll continue working on the smaller game reviews.  I need to figure out how I’m going to fit in the longer and more essay/analysis like ones.
3. HTML5/CSS Course – I’m taking this for free on edx.org.  I like the structure of it a lot.  While I’m more interested in the CSS portion than the HTML5 (for blogging reasons), it still never hurts to brush up on that.  After I finish this, I’ll go back to actively working on blog upgrades/updates.
4. Audio Recording – I’ve been working on the edit of an essay audio recording, but I need to redo the second half.  I feel I’m speaking too fast, not enunciating well enough, and my voice sounds a bit scratchy.  The essay is for the FF Collaborative Project sponsored/hosted by The Well-Red Mage and NekoJonez, and while the audio part isn’t a requirement, it’s something I want to get into the habit of doing!
