Prior Word Count: 261,419
Word Difference: -83

Quill pen with shadowI made some good progress in these last two weeks and am currently halfway through the first edit of the 5th chapter (that is a lot of numbers).  I think once I finish this I’ll be able to continue with my regular editing and posting schedule…after I consult my checklist of course 😉

Project: Story Audio Recording
Northern Lights
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Type: Fanfiction (FFVII) Novel
Status: Prepping
Progress: Editing blurb

I’ve managed to separate out what I liked into another recording.  Now I have to piece it together into the full blurb, try to remove any distortions, then find and add music.  I should’ve worked on this last Friday, but even though I was off, I had such low motivation to do anything.  I spent most of the day in the bed after an early (7:45) appointment.  I have it on the schedule to work on this Tuesday though.

In Progress

  • Super Mario Odyssey Review – It’s been reviewed hundreds if not thousands of times already, but I played it so I’m still going to review it!
  • My Name in TBR Books Tag – Another fun little tag involving the books on my TBR list.

This was a really productive two weeks.  I finished and posted six things and I’m getting close to the end of my revisions for The Broken Rose.  I still haven’t figured out where I’m going to fit in the new novel, but I’m going to continue plugging away at what projects I have as I attempt to parse out some time for that.

What have you been up to lately in the creative field?  Let’s talk in the comments!

  2. Nice! Glad you had such a productive stretch of time recently. 😀 I feel like I’ve been a lot more productive this past week as well. Really hoping to take full advantage of this 3 day weekend by getting lots of writing done. 🙂

    • I feel like I’ll go between really productive and not lol. Like next update I’ll probably only have one or two, but I guess that’s the ebb and flow of creativity paired with time 😀

I’m SO happy it’s a three day weekend. We spent today getting our old sectional out by the dumpster because we’re getting a new one delivered next Saturday. We live on the third floor and it was so hot/humid today. My husband did 95% of the work, because I’m just not strong enough to do a lot of the heavy lifting. We were going to just move part of it, but decided to just do the whole job in one day so that we can spend tomorrow cleaning. Our living room is a complete and utter mess right now as can be imagined. Of course the cats are treating it as their own personal playground lol.

        • Soooo about the new sectional hehe. Turns out it was damaged while they were moving it, and Amazon sent me an email saying they’d refund us our money. I was quite annoyed, but there’s a furniture store literally down the street from us that neither me nor my husband knew about. He went there today and found an even less expensive one even with delivery. Once I get the money back on my card we’re going to purchase it 🙂

              • Ugh. So frustrating. We went through a huge ordeal as well with that giant bean bag I was telling you about a while ago. Yesterday was the first day I finally got to use it and enjoy it because of all the shipping/lost in shipping issues there with it. We even had to switch what color we ordered because after the first one was lost in shipping they didn’t have any more of that color. First World Problems, I know, but it was still pretty frustrating. lol

                • I think our couch woes are finally going to be resolved! I got the credit card for the place in the mail today, and think we’re going to place our order and figure out delivery this Friday. I’m actually a little happy the Amazon one didn’t go through, because we found one for less money.

It IS frustrating! I was so salty when I got that email, because it had all been planned out!
