What I Finished

Title: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations
Series Title: Ace Attorney
System: Nintendo Switch

Date Finished: 6/17/19

The last case in this is probably the longest of any game, and holy shit, is it intense.  This is one of the best written series I’ve ever played.  It’s up there with Final Fantasy with regards to attention to detail and narrative tightness.  Every character, every character is connected through one case that affected the course of all of their lives.  There’s no case that isn’t connected to another, and no matter how simple it looks, the circle just enlarges the deeper Phoenix and co dig.  The final case is just heartbreaking no matter which direction you look, BUT I do have some great ideas for fanfics 😀

In all honesty, if you haven’t played this series, I highly recommend it.  The first three games are available on Switch, and I hope the others will be soon, too.  I was told to watch the anime next and even given a 48 hour pass to Crunchyroll.  I picked up two of the manga (one of them featuring Edgeworth ♥), and I’m going to look into getting Ace Investigations, which stars my favorite prosecutor ♥  I spent about an hour hunting for my 3DS  to see if I can just download it on there, but if not I’ll buy it online.  Now I feel comfortable delving into the fan art and fanfiction without too much fear of spoilers, though I still have Apollo Justice, Ace Investigations, and Spirit of Justice to dive into.

What I’m Watching

Let’s Player: Olizandri

The internet is a weird and wild place, and I’m a weird and wild person…so I’m watching this, and the Let’s Player has just finished uncorrupting the first Divine Beast Vah Ruta.  He comes back to the Zora Kingdom and it’s then I decided I need to look up fan art of Prince Sidon.

 

The internet…is a weird, fucking place, but I can’t even be mad.  I’ve sailed some crack ships in my time, and it’s not hurting anybody.  He’s also not bad looking for a humanoid shark :p

I forgot that past me bought the FFVII Remake about a year ago, so I don’t have to worry about that.  I should just receive it on 3/3/20 when it comes out.  I should probably take off that day/week/month.  This was one of the main reasons I wanted my own PS4.  I could seriously kick myself for not watching the latest trailer in its entirety because my love and Great General Sephiroth showed up to taunt Cloud with his sexiness.  Now granted, I kind of prefer Advent or even Crisis Core Sephiroth a little bit better (prettier face, wider shoulders), it was only a glimpse, and he told Cloud to run away.  Now me?  I’d run in the wrong direction…straight towards the angel of death ♥

What did you think of E3 this year?  Oh!  Yeah, so I totally have an innocent crush on Keanu Reeves now.  It’s not like my crush on Sephiroth or Loki/Tom Hiddleston; it’s more, idk, he’s adorable and wholesome, and he’ll rip out your throat if you hurt animals.  I can get down with that.
