I spent entirely too much time trying to find another picture. I swear to god I had it saved somewhere on my computer or at least on Pinterest or or Deviant Art, but I couldn’t find it. I probably scrolled right past it because that’s how I roll, and I freaking know I’ll find it later when I’m not looking. It also doesn’t help that my husband is currently playing FFVIIR at some seriously integral parts (plate drop, Aerith’s backstory by Elmyra et al), so my concentration is a bit off.
I *might* be done, but I’m not sure lol. I finished the second edit last night, but I think I want to do a third. Sometimes I’ll only do a partial one, but I’m not 100% comfortable with the last paragraph. The last sentence is perfect, or at least the last part of it haha. I’ll more than likely end up doing a final edit, and hopefully that will be done this week then I can move on to Preptober for my new WIP.

Progress: Adding pictures for slideshow
I’m so close to when they have their first meeting. I just added some pictures to the slideshow last night, but I was too tired to do the timings on them, since I’d just finished the second edit of TBR.
- Game Reviews: Final Fantasy VI – I’ve finished Terra’s part (for now), but I haven’t been able to start Celes’ yet. It’s going to be a bit heavy since I realized she exemplifies what happens to “good cops,” and that’s rife with heavy stuff in our current discourse. I think it’s important though, so I’m going to do it. I just need to have the energy and time.
- Book Reviews: The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton – I started the analysis. I’m trying to lay out everything I want to talk about first before I talk about it.
We saw this house this past weekend, not the other one I linked. That one was under contract, and I didn’t know what that meant until my realtor told me. I really liked the one we saw, but my hubs had some concerns. The kitchen is small and the attic is unfinished, plus there were some other things that might need replacing in a few years, though that’s…kinda of the way it would be for any house. I mean…I get it, but I’m also thinking about what we’re going to find in our price range. I’m willing to compromise on certain things, but I have to live in an area with a decent school district, and I refuse to live anywhere without at least another half bath ever again. The townhouse isn’t huge, but it fulfills all of my conditions. Of course there’s an even bigger problem: we don’t have enough money for closing cost lol. Jen (my realtor) sent over the entire breakdown, and we need about $10k more than we have. Oops lol. It’s cool though. I’m glad I know about it so I can make better plans. Plus if we buy closer to when our lease is up, we’ll have less to pay if we break it.
Any of you have Halloween plans? I still want to eat candy, but I’m obviously not going to any get togethers.

Halloween is our anniversary. We usually hand out candy but I don’t think we want to deal with the dirty kid hands this year because you know, Covid. So we might just leave a bucket on the front steps. Otherwise, we’re having my sister-in-law and our best friends over to drink and watch horror movies. What are you guys doing?

That’s literally what most of my friends are doing. We’re actually celebrating my husband’s birthday that day (it’s on the 29th), so we’ll be going to his parents for cake and whatnot. I’m trying to do a German sort of meal on the day since he really, really wanted to go to this Brauhaus, but you know, coronavirus. I’m hoping the Bavarian pretzels I ordered get here prior, and I swear to fuck if the present I ordered is stolen I will hunt those mofos down. He can’t take off work, but I think I might so I have time to cook. I was honestly just planning on putting on a costume and drinking, so I’m going to be more useful lol.
