I’m pretty much ready to start writing; I just need the energy and the time.  I know what I want the first chapter to be about, and I’ve even started looking at my other beginnings.  It’s really just finding the space to write.

I don’t think I mentioned it last time, but I actually went back and restarted this.  Maybe I didn’t do that until after posting, but it was going in a different direction than I planned, which is generally fine, but I’d started writing it to use specific notes, and the direction I was going was making that difficult.  I still have what I wrote before, and I’m hoping I can marry them at some point, but for now I feel more on track with what I wanted to do.

At this point I just need the space to do the recordings.  It’s all set up, but I can only record on Tuesdays and Fridays when the hubs goes bowling., and soon it won’t even be that.  His Friday league is done for the summer and Tuesday is coming to an end.  I need to try to do the first session tomorrow if I can.  Oh, and I’m definitely going to do a hybrid of still images and abstract videos, but that’s something I’ll worry about more when I’m at that point.

• Game Reviews: Final Fantasy VI – I feel like I’m wrapping up the Analysis section.  After that I think I move on to music.  This “review” is more than three times as long as my short story as it stands right now.  It’s…bonkers.
• Book Reviews: Unraveling Oliver by Liz Nugent – Now I’m wondering if I’m going to hard on the synopsis.  Ughhhh.

I’m dying…I’m exaggerating, but I literally feel like I am.  It’s why this wasn’t posted until Monday using WP’s ability to backdate.  My BFF’s baby shower was this Sunday so I had an hour drive in both directions.  She’s absolutely worth it ♥, had a wonderful time, and we got to catch up face to face, but I…am…dead.  I was supposed to go to my nephew’s second birthday party on Saturday, but I couldn’t get out of bed.  As bad as I feel about missing that, I don’t know if I could’ve made it to the shower if I’d done anything on Saturday.  Now my entire body hurts.  I took off today to recuperate, and I’m so glad I did.  I didn’t get up until 3.  That’s why this was not only late but sort of less detailed haha. Oh well, I don’t have anywhere else to be until the last Saturday of the month when I get my first Covid shot.  I might see if I can get one at a closer spot though like the CVS down the street.
