A post updated every other Sunday discussing my current writing projects and any completed the prior two weeks.
Finished Projects: 0
Project: Story
Working Title: The High Archon
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Type: Original
Length: Novel
Current Word Count: 10,530
Prior Word Count: 10,530
Word Difference: 0
Status: Organization
Progress: Chapter 2
I’m making progress with my organization but still working on it. Given the last two weeks contained Christmas, I wasn’t expecting to make much headway; however, I managed to organize the conversation beats for Chapter 1 and fix the micro-outline (it was such a mess). I need to do the same for Chapter 2 and fix the micro-outline there as well. There are other things I need to add in/fix like how I completely fucked up the progression of time. It’s the equivalent of an August evening so the sun would set late, so I have to figure out the logistics of when they get to town, how long they’re there, and when the sun sets. They keep time differently from how we do, but the hours of the day are the same.
No clue when I’m going to start drafting again. Once I check everything off of my To Do list I can get back to it.
Project: Story Audio Recording
Title: Northern Lights
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Type: Fanfiction
Length: Novel
Fandom: Final Fantasy VII
Status: Editing
Progress: Finished sound quality edit of Chapter 2
I’m about halfway through the timing portion of the audio edit. That’s really all I have to report lol.

Length: Novel
Fandom: Final Fantasy VII
Status: Editing
Progress: Adding in audio recording notes
I didn’t do anything with this, but I did wind up splitting the chapter. I just need to figure out what picture I’m going to use and continue adding notes on the text for the audio recording.
In Progress
- Game Reviews: Final Fantasy VI – I finished up the final edit of the World of Balance summary and started the first of the World of Ruin.
- Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn – I need to consider if I’m going to break this into Review and Analysis parts since there are things I want to talk about that are going to spoil the story.
I hope you all had a nice holiday and/or a great day off, if you were so privileged to do so (not everyone does…). I’m done being social for at least a week lol. We had to be at my SIL at 10:30 yesterday and then my dad’s at 4:00. We didn’t get home until 10 last night. I am peopled out. To make matters worse I got maybe two hours of sleep last night, and for some reason my dumb ass went to bed at 4 this morning and was up at 11 (wtaf). Since I got nothing on my to do list done yesterday it’s all been pushed to today and probably tomorrow since I thankfully took off. I got a lot of awesome stuff (as I usually do). I’ve already spent most of my Amazon GC and half of my Nintendo eShop one. Do you really think I wasn’t going to buy a game called Cthulhu Saves Christmas?? Do you take me for a GD fool??? I forget what else I was going to say lol. Oh well :p

I’d expect judgement if I DIDN’T buy it!
