I’m not generally a fan of heist novels, and like The Lies of Locke Lamora, none of the characters are overly likable.  I definitely have sympathy for them and their situation, but the thing that’s keeping me interested is less the job and more everyone’s backstory.  I’m not sure how long I’m going to keep reading this (it’s due back on the 20th unless I renew), but even if I DNF, I will definitely read more from this author.

I made my Goodreads challenge 30 books this year since that’s how many I managed to read last year when I set it to 25.  

I used the Amazon gift card I got for Christmas to buy Ecofeminism.  That was on my research wish list for a while, and I received the Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania from an August preorder.  it’s always weird figuring out those dates and details and deciding when to put the “purchase” date since it’s farther for those reasons.

I hope you’re all staying as safe as you can.  Shit is real out there.
