A weekly post updated every other Thursday detailing my current gaming projects. I have an account at Grouvee, which is a site you can use to keep track of your backlog, so please feel free to friend me there!
What I Demoed
Nothing this time.
What I Purchased
- 15in1 – $2.39 @ Nintendo eShop
- Triangle Strategy – $59.99 @ Target
Total: $62.38
What I Finished
Nothing this time.
What I’m Playing
Title: Etrian Odyssey Nexus
Series: Etrian Odyssey
System: Nintendo 3DS
Date Started: December 25, 2021
A new labyrinth just opened up, but I haven’t been playing as much. Other things have been cropping up, but I’m hoping to get some in tonight.
What I Watched
- Olizandri
- Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Almost done watching this. I still have no clue how to play such a game, but I enjoy watching it.
- Final Fantasy VI: Pixel Remaster – I thought I was done picking up insights about this game as I’m in the (two year) midst of reviewing it, but watching it always offers fresh ones. The Pixel Remaster is lovely and the music is indescribable. The opera has actual singing. I’m upset it’s not available on any consoles, especially the Switch, but only Steam. Hopefully that will be remedied at some point.
- Ys IX: Monstrum Nox – The demo wasn’t my cup of tea, but I wanted another Oliz LP to watch and I’m enjoying this.
- CJUGames
- Martha Is Dead – *deep breath* I had to stop watching this similar reason I had to stop watching FFVIIR, but it was more graphic. Holy fucking god…I do want to finish it. There’s just one more video. I just need to gear up.
- ChristopherOdd
- The Hidden Deep – I honestly forgot about this game lol. It’s terrifying and intriguing. Anything that has to do with the ocean or what’s under it is always deliciously horrifying.
I literally bought Triangle Strategy because I wanted to do Target same day delivery and it needs to be at least $35, soooo well it was just logical lol. Another reason is Olizandri started a Let’s Play and I want to play before I watch it. I enjoyed the demo. It’s reminiscent of Octopath Traveler at least in terms of graphics and first impressions. Anyway, so I’m watching Picard, so I must away.

Mr. C&M recently dropped so much money on video games. I’m not holding it against though because he hasn’t bought anything in awhile and it’s not his fault they all came out at the same time. Lol. Pokemon Arceus, Mario 3D Allstars, Horizon and Elden Ring. Plus, his PS5 controller was dying so he got one of those too. Boy is spoiled.
I’ve bought one book for $1.99 this year. 😛

Yuuuuup. I just gave Square Enix MORE of my money because they had a publisher’s sale. It got three games for around $50 so I can’t complain to much. The PS5 controller died already?? That shit literally came out like yesterday lol. I want to do that old person grumbling about how things aren’t made like they used to be.
You are holding your resolve with that! I’m doing…not terribly with it. Since I discovered the e-Library I’ve been borrowing a shit ton of books. I’m obsessed with the Six of Crows series right now.

I’m so happy that you’re loving that series. I need to read King of Scars sometime soon. Moth let me borrow it like a year ago lol.
First generation stuff never holds up these days.

Omg it’s so damn good. I try to read a chapter a day on my lunch break. I like it much better than Lies of Locke Lamora. I’m not super into heist novels, but I’m glad I stuck with this one.
