A biweekly post updated every other Wednesday detailing my current reading projects and what new titles I’ve added to my to-read list.  Title links go to Goodreads, and if you have an account there feel free to friend me!  I’d love to see what you’re reading and/or planning to read.

I was able to straighten out the loan situation and renew, because this book…fuck this book.  There are now at least two characters I share triggers with.  Initially it was just one and it wasn’t so much a trigger as a “this is a similar fucked up situation to something else holy fuck this is a terrible time for me to reading this,” but the other one is definitely causing a physical reaction.  I don’t want to be too detailed to not give things away.  I am so happy I stuck with this.

Title: The Comedy of Errors
Author: William Shakespeare
Date Added: March 6, 2018
Date Started: February 6, 2022

Cover of The Comedy of Errors by William ShakespeareMedia: eBook/Kindle

The shenanigans continued through Act III and now I’m on Act IV.  I’m guessing there are five acts?  I think that’s the common amount for Shakespeare plays.

Title: The Vela
Series Title: The Vela
Authors: Yoon Ha Lee, Becky Chambers, Rivers Solomon, and SL Huang
Date Added: October 2, 2021
Date Started: December 21, 2021

As said above, slow progress is better than none.  I read a little bit of this in the time between my access to Six of Crows.  I don’t have much left and could (and should) probably finish it in just a few more sessions, one if I pushed myself.

Title: Ireland’s Immortals: A History of the Gods of Irish Myth
Author: Mark Williams
Date Added: October 5, 2017
Date Started: December 15, 2021

Cover of Ireland's Immortals by Mark WilliamsMedia: Hardback
Progress: 29%

I should probably lock down what I’m going to read after I finish this chapter.  I thought I’d decided on the ecofeminism book I recently picked up from Amazon.  I’ve been working on organizing my research, which has been…daunting to say the least 😅

Ugh, now I’m two books behind.  I should read Black Hammer some time this week to at least put me back behind just one.  It’s probably going to be a situation where I finish a bunch at a time like Six of Crows and The Vela.  If I knock out Black Hammer then I’ll be a book ahead.  I don’t know if I’ll get a chance to read House of Sky and Breath tonight as I usually do on Wednesday.  I’ve been really mired in projects lately.  I’m either caught up on my reading or working constantly on projects.  There’s just no in between.
