Progress: Working on language details
One of the many pictures I have saved on Pinterest for potential settings. I love this as a view from train tracks, though of course you’d have to be walking along them in order to see something like this, not riding in one as my characters would ostensibly be doing. My initial method of transportation was going to be horse and carriage, but then I started thinking about what technology they might have and I realized a train might absolutely be possible.
I think I’m done with the minutiae of surnames and am finally ready to transfer my notes to Scrivener. I think delving into it for as long as I did was a good idea, but while I wanted to establish what traditional methods different groups might have had, I also have to remember this is a much more fluid world than our reality (though I’m seeing some progress), and I don’t have to hash everything out.
Project: Research & Essay Organization
Status: Organizing Reference Material
Progress: Moving pertinent notes into Essay and Research Notebook on OneNote
I’m not quite sure what I’m doing with this now. I think I was working on putting all relevant research materials into the dedicated notebook on OneNote, but I need to figure out what to do next. I think I need to organize all of the links to outside sources because they’re all over the place. I’m still struggling a bit with how exactly to organize my notes, so I might need to brainstorm ideas about that.

Maybe I’ll get back to it in the next two weeks, but more than likely not considering all the stuff going on now. It’s still on my to-do list. I just wave sadly at it as I check it off undone. If I could get to it earlier in the evening, I could make some progress, but I’m so invested in working on my worldbuilding, this project gets left by the wayside.

- Game Reviews: My Brother Rabbit – I think one more good session will have this finished.
- Book Reviews: Snow White and the Seven Angels by Rhys Christopher Ethan – This should also be a quick and easy review. It’s an LGBTQ+ retelling of Snow White.
What a week. October streaked past like it owed September money y’all wtf? I can’t have time moving this quickly. I have WAY too much to do right now.
