I don’t remember where I found this picture.  Maybe on Pinterest or Twitter?  It was probably Pinterest because that’s where I have it saved and of course there’s no source ugh.  He’s probably from some game or manga I should know about but don’t.  Anyway, I immediately thought he looked like he’d make a beautiful bride and I wanted to write about him lol.  Because my brain will just hyperfixate on something and stay with it until I take enough notes to appease the shit sponge, I’m currently writing some background for this.  Will it make its way into my WIP?  Who TF knows.

I have been making progress with my seafolk stuff.  I ran into a conundrum with my own internal consistency the other day but I think I’ve managed to work out the kinks.

Status: Organizing Reference Material
Progress: Figuring out integral motifs

I’m happy with how the YouTube organization went so I’ve moved on to trying to decide what resources will serve as general references (again).  It’s been difficult so I’ve tried figuring out what the integral motifs to FFVII and ASOIAF are.  I’ve also just tried looking at the resources I have and deciding if they’d be good as general ones.  If I’m in a situation like this, I often try to come at it from more than one direction.  The issue I’m having is since I’ve decided to focus on one essay, I feel like I’m getting away from that, but I still want to concentrate on the general information first.  Idk I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

• Book Review: The Stillness of the Sky by Starla Huchton (Flipped Fairy Tales #2) (DNF) – This should be a short one and I should have it done by next update.

Finally posted the Bear With Me review.  Unlike my book reviews the game ones aren’t really in a particular order for various reasons.  Some games are really in depth (like Final Fantasy which has its own particular order/schedule) whereas others are far simpler.  BWM was in the middle.  I want to work on The Journey Down trilogy next.  One, it’s another excellent point-and-click; and two, it’s a great example of how to break a story up into separate parts, so I can use it as a counterpoint to people annoyed that the FFVII Remake is doing the same.  Yep, it usually comes back to that lol.

*sigh* I should work on my writing notes but I’m going to play some Octopath Traveler II.
