This is why it takes me forever to do anything…I spent about half an hour on Pinterest because I got distracted then I had to look for the source because nobody fucking includes sources and it’s like grrrr.  Sorry, I know to some it seems like nbd but when you don’t include a source the artist doesn’t get credit, and it’s…just a whole thing.

Anyway I’m back to working on the main worldbuilding and adding stuff to Scrivener.  I’ll find myself in situations where I have this idea and then I’ll get fixated on one detail and think I need to work around that detail when I could just…change the detail lol.  That happened here.  I spent weeks wondering  how to reconcile that when I realized I could change that detail, and in doing so I could also use a story idea I thought of a while ago so double win!

Progress: Figuring out integral motifs

I’m doing sporadic work on this, but I kind of want to wait until I organize my bookshelves before I recommit myself.  I don’t have any of my research materials out so I haven’t read anything for it since we moved.  I have been working on figuring out the integral motifs, but I’m also thinking that’s something I might be able to figure out while I’m researching.

• Book Review: The Stillness of the Sky by Starla Huchton (Flipped Fairy Tales #2) (DNF) – From last update: “This should be a short one and I should have it done by next update.” But she was wrong, and indeed, she did not have it done by next update.  Yeah I kind of went off on a ranting tangent in the review, and I need to clean that up so I’m saying something substantial.
• Game Review: The Journey Down – I’m pretty excited to work on this because I really loved this game and there’s a lot I can say about it.

Yep it’s been two weeks since I’ve updated.  I want to keep a steady schedule but things don’t always work out *shrug*  Besides working on the above I’ve been gathering new current hyperfixations: Fire Emblem Engage, Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, and Lackadaisy.  The last two are fantastic adult animated pilots with series in the works, and FEE is of course the latest in the FE series.  I’ve never played or watched an FE game before, and I’m in love with all of the potential shipping my god everyone is gay ♥♥♥  I have my own fanfic ideas that I hope I can get out soon, oh and even though I haven’t watched the latest trailer for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it’s hard to ignore the influence it’s had on tumblr, Deviant Art, and any other place art and fandom is made.  I know this is supposed to be my writing update thingy, but I do what I want and everything I do bleeds into writing anyway so eh.
