Progress: Reviewing and updating “written out” accent
I’m still working on the accent part but I’ve also started sort of a checklist of things I need to accomplish before I start drafting again. I’m really trying not to get caught up in the weeds again, but it can be difficult. There are definitely things I want to flesh out and know before I start up again, but there are other things I don’t necessarily need to do so. Obviously, I can always go back and edit, but I like to have some idea of what I’m doing before I do it.

Progress: Figuring out integral motifs
I decided to make a pivot table in Excel for my essays and references. I did pick one to focus on, but I’m still not 100% sure. I want to see what references are used in the most essays. I just feel like I need this information so I better know how to progress.
Well it seems as though I’m still struggling to keep up with the monthly schedule. I’d like to get it to me posting one State post before another one is due, since now SOTR is overdue. Ugh, life.
Is anyone else watching True Detective: Night Country? I kept seeing they had a new season and finally remembered to watch and holy shit is it good. It ties directly back to Season 1, which is the best season, and I have lots of multimedia comparative thoughts. I plan to re-watch Season 1 as well as Season 4, taking notes. This is pretty much my current hyperfixation, and I’m just glad the finale is happening this Sunday, well before Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth comes out. I literally don’t have the emotional bandwidth to deal with two things that…eh, well I’m just glad.
